Larger growth with in-house CO2 production
Good news for market gardens with in-house power plants
Reduce the emission of environmentally damaging agents while getting an in-house production of the CO2, which is added to plants such as tomatoes in order to increase growth. In this way, you will be able to comply with limits and norms and also have a lower your costs on purchase of CO2!
Flue gas purification
Catcon Power Solutions supplies flue gas purifying plants and we specialize in plants which reduce nitrogen oxide (NOx), carbon monoxide (CO), formaldehyde (FA), smell, and particles for diesel and gas engines, turbines, boilers, and industrial plants.
CO2 production
The flue gas from a gas engine is transformed into CO2. The plant can be used in market gardens and nurseries.
Reduction of NOx, CO and ethylene
SCR (selective catalytic reduction) is a method for lowering NOx emissions. For this, catalyst elements and the reductant NH3 under pressure, such as NH3 water or urea are applied. The method is applied to engines and turbines with a flue gas temperature in the interval between approx. 200-500 °C. Oxidation catalysts (Oxicat) are used to reduce CO and ethylene.
Ammonia (NH3) is added to the nitrogen oxides (NOx) of the flue gasses, from an engine or turbine. This causes a catalytic reaction, which transforms the noxious substances into nitrogen (N2) and water (H2O). The plant also produces carbon dioxide (CO2) by transforming carbon monoxide (CO). The effect is controlled regularly.
